I tried to install using the Interactive option but nothing happened. I could see that VMTools did start because the option is set to END VMTools but nothing showed up and after 20min. I restarted the VM.
I wonder if this is caused by the fact that the VM was created from an SCCM image ISO and that in the package VMTools was initially installed but when the VM was completed , VMTools was not functioning. So,I uninstalled VMTools from Programs & Features. Now, I am trying to reinstall it and I was not able to do it using the Interactive Mode. I have tried using Automatic and it works. But I need to remove ThinPrint.
