So, you say you are using AtlantisIO for storage acceleration. I’m assuming then you have rolled out some variation of automated pools and linked clones from replicas. This can work really good if done properly, and really bad when not. In order to better isolate the root cause, I’d try to use standard provisioned VMs and see if you experience the same behaviors. One thing to remember is that no resource is an island, and if you are incurring storage performance issues through physical design, or deployment architectures
of View, this can give the impression of wait times on CPU, and overall how CPU is perceiving it’s utilization. Not an absolute answer for you, but just a few thoughts to think about.
