My host is Mac OS X 10.8.4, my guest is Windows 7 SP1, and I'm running VMWare Fusion 4.1.4.
Most Windows programs appear in the Mac Dock when they are opened. This is true for Internet Explorer, Outlook, Control Panel, Adobe Reader, etc. However, I have one older program that does not create an icon in the Mac Dock when I launch it: CyberBoard. The program opens fine, but nothing appears in the Dock.
Additionally, whatever window I had open when I launch CyberBoard will not hide behind CyberBoard. If I give the CyberBoard window focus, I can drag it over other program windows, but the active program at launch will always obscure CyberBoard. For example, if I have Mail open when I launch CyberBoard, I can drag the CyberBoard window in front of Chrome but not Mail. If Chrome is open on launch, then I can drag CyberBoard in front of Mail but not Chrome.
Finally, CyberBoard will not appear in the Recent Applications list in Unity. I can't add it to the Applications Menu. It does appear in the All Programs list, and when I exit Unity and use the Windows Start button, it appears in the Windows recent applications list.
Any suggestions?
