About 10 or more times a day my VM hangs for upwards of one minute and Windows 7 (service pack one) reports that vmware.exe has stop responding. The problem signature reported by Windows is

Hang Signature: 551f
Hang Type: 0
The system is a Dell T7500, with 16GB of RAM. The problems occurs with and without virus scanning software enabled.
Any idea why?
