i just found that my Host Isolation Response setting for my cluster was set to shut down. This may be my culprit. What i don't understand is that the host should have never become isolated because we have redundant NICs for the service console and i took them down, one at a time.
If anyone has any light to be shed on this, i greatly appreciate it.
